Plans for Downtown Miami’s Omni keep evolving
Late last month a post appeared on the MiamiCondoLoft blog outlining the plans for Downtown Miami’s Omni Center and as quickly as it was reported the project’s future continues to evolve. Jorge Perez of Related Group has now sold his interest to the Genting Group, the folks behind the massive project by the Miami Herald building that blogger Chanoa Chen reported on as well.
The plan now includes turning the Omni into part of the first phase of the company’s Resorts World Miami and includes a casino and of course the usual – restaurants, bars, entertainment facilities. One new facet that’s different than the Related Group’s plan though is the two condominium towers
